Thank you for your interest in Pet Sitting by Alicia. I am passionate about caring for animals because they bring unconditional love and such joy to people's lives. Customers love my services because I care for their pets with the same loving care I give my own. When your dogs are under my care, they will enjoy their vacation as much as you enjoy yours.
My Background:
While the bulk of my career (over 15 years) has been in owning and operating my own pet sitting business, my work with animals began early on as a veterinarian technician prior to Pet Sitting by Alicia. Being a vet tech was an occupation I held for over 7 years that provided me with applicable skill sets that now allow me to provide exceptional care for senior dogs, or dogs that require routine medication, either oral or injected (i.e. IV fluids or Insulin.)
I love my job! I provide daily exercise and I am always thinking about which activities are most interesting for the dogs. I enjoy giving my clients’ dogs the best care that I would want my animals to get which is why when your pups stay with me, they are allowed on the furniture, they do not spend time in crates, and come nighttime they’ll have a spot at the foot of the bed.

At Pet Sitting with Alicia, your dog will get to experience what many of my clients refer to as “Doggy Disneyland.”
Our lot includes 1 acre of green space between our front and back yards. Our ½ acre front yard is open to the street so we take extra precautions; it is large enough for your pup to safely play on a lead or enjoy an on-leash walk. Our ½ acre backyard is a fully fenced, wooded, doggy-play wonderland and has 28 redwood trees on it. We call it the forest.
Exercise is key…
We also take your dog’s mentality into account by gearing their stay towards fun and engaging activities. In recognizing that dogs love to experience their environment and explore by sniffing, we encourage a lot of outdoor time on our “Doggy Disneyland” property. With your permission, we offer at minimum a one hour walk per day additional to potty breaks every 2 hours. This allows your pup to experience the scenery, expend extra energy, and feel calm and relaxed.

Services & Rates
In (My) Home Pet Sitting
Single Dog Pet sitting is $50.00 per day
Second Dog Pet Sitting is $40.00 per day (Second dog discount)
Total fee for Two dogs = $90.00 per day
In-(Your) House Drop Ins
We also offer services to check in on your dog, cat, or farm animals throughout the day. This includes feeding, potty break and clean up after. Your location must be within a 15 minute radius of Pet Sitting with Alicia. Please contact us to be sure that your location is within our service area. No service after 5:00 pm.
The fee for this service is $40 per visit.
Service Policies

Pick up and drop off are by appointment only. We will not take drop offs or pick ups after 6 PM.

All dogs must be spayed or neutered.

We do not pet sit dogs over 100 pounds, nor do we accept puppies under the age of 1 year.

Owners will be asked to provide proof of updated vaccines.

“Alicia was absolutely amazing! This was the first time I had to leave my dog and I was so comfortable with her. Tucker (my dog) went to visit and was already totally comfortable. He can be timid at times as he was a rescue dog and has a hard time trusting quickly, especially men. The first night I got a picture and an update that Tucker was doing well and was snuggled on the couch with her husband. I got daily updates and I was so excited to find a place that does not crate their dogs and that Tucker could just run free! I will definitely take Tucker back! I highly recommend Alicia!”
